Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) is a denomination that confesses the historic, orthodox Christian faith, a faith built on “the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone” (Eph. 2:20).

The LCMS, headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., is mission-oriented and Bible-based. LCMS doctrine reflects the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther, as summarized in The Book of Concord: The Confessions of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Kansas District

The Kansas District is one of 35 districts of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). Our mission is to support and encourage the members of the District in carrying out the mission Christ has given His Church.

The state is divided into four regions, each represented by a vice-president, as well as 16 circuits, each represented by a circuit visitor. The members of the District include church workers (rostered and commissioned), congregations and schools.

Donuts & Devos

Donuts and Devos is a podcast for kids, to help them grow in faith and flourish with understanding of God’s Word. But it’s also for parents and caregivers, to help make “Jesus time” fun, engaging, and Biblically sound without struggling to figure out how you’re going to teach your littles. Here I hope and pray families receive the peace only Jesus can give and are “sprinkled” with God’s love every day!

Lutherans for Life

Lutherans For Life believes that the Church is compelled by God’s Word to speak and act on behalf of those who are vulnerable and defenseless. The crisis of our times is the repudiation of biblical truth manifested in the wanton destruction of innocent human life through legalized abortion-on-demand and the growing threat to the lives of others through legalized assisted suicide and euthanasia. Therefore, as Lutherans For Life, we will strive to give a Gospel-motivated witness to the Church and society on these and other related issues, such as chastity, post-abortion healing, and family living. We will call God’s people to compassionate action and foster life-affirming alternatives for those facing difficult situations.
